Billed as one of Chicago’s largest and scariest Halloween events, the Chicago Park District’s Trails of Terror crawls with freaks, creeps and ghouls of all kinds along the half-mile outdoor trail. Experience the dark side of a deserted carnival. Nearly one-half mile of spine-tingling terror. Trails of Terror is not recommended for young children. Dates: Thursday-Tuesday, Oct. 25-30, 2007 @ 6:30-9:00 pm. Location: Peterson Park, 5801 N. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, IL 60646 (312) 742-7584. Admission (Oct 26 -30): $8 for ages 15+; $6 for ages 8-14

Experience the dark side of a deserted town crawling with creepy characters. Enter if you dare the winding corn maze, ghostly cemetery, the bloody red barn, and lots of other bone-chilling surprises! October 24-26 & 29-31 from 6:30-9:30pm (except Halloween night: 7-9:30pm). Peterson Park, 5801 N. Pulaski Rd. in Chicago. $8 fee: ages 8 & up (not recommended for young children--tickets will not be sold after 9pm). Hotline: (773) 262-6157. Plenty of free parking.
